The Groovy Jobs view displays the Groovy jobs that exist at the current scope level. You can use Groovy jobs to define background jobs that run selected Groovy plug-ins and code extensions and send the output file(s) as email attachment(s) to specified recipients. You can schedule Groovy jobs to run at the scope level at which you are logged in or at any lower scope levels. For example, if you log in at the complex scope level, you can set up Groovy jobs to run at the complex, facility, or yard scope levels.

You can add, edit, and delete Groovy jobs from this view.

In addition, you can use the Actions menu to:

Schedule Job: Schedule a Groovy job that exists at the current scope level.

Once scheduled, the Groovy job executes as a background job at the specified times. If a Groovy job is scheduled, N4 displays a bullet in the Scheduled column.

Unschedule Job: Unschedule a scheduled Groovy job.

The Groovy job no longer runs as a background job. To run the job again, you can schedule it again or use the Execute Now (once) option.

Execute Now (once): Execute a specific Groovy job on demand.
Export SNX File: Export the selected groovy jobs as an XML file using the snx.xsd format.

If you do not select a Groovy job in the list view, the above options are disabled and cannot be selected.

In the list view, select the record(s) that you want to edit or delete.

Do one of the following:

Click to edit a selected record.
Click to delete the selected record(s).
